Simple tips for a healthy and happy lifestyle


 The famous proverb ‘health is wealth' interprets how important the good health for a human being.

The World Health Organization has defined health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” A good health gives a healthy long life with happiness.

Nothing is important in this world than of your health. So here are some easy tips to maintain a good health.

1.      Do exercises

The physical fitness is needed to live a healthy life. The regular exercises you do will keep you at balanced weight and reduces health risks from illnesses such as high blood pressure, heart attacks etc... It is recommended that between 150 - 300 minutes of moderate-intensity activity per week for an adult.

2.      Eat healthy

Your diet should include foods with proteins, vitamins, fiber, minerals and other nutrients. Eating vegetables and fruits and reduce eating salt, sugar, fat including foods will makes the diet healthier.

3.      Drink more water

A 60% of human body consists with water. Water is essential for the human body functioning. being hydrated reduces kidney problems. It is said that at least a person should drink about 2/3 liters of water daily.

4.      Avoid alcohol use and smoking

Alcohol is not good for health. Alcohol consumption can cause many diseases such as cancer. Smoking directly affects for lung diseases. Hence alcohol and smoking need to be avoided to make your living healthy.

5.      Meditate

It is scientifically proven that meditation can reduce stress levels. Stress negatively impacts on one’s health mentally as well as physically. A daily 10 – 20 minutes meditation is better to improve your health.

6.      Get enough sleep

Sleep affects your entire body. A poor sleep impacts on energy, immunity, mentality and activeness. Therefore at least a 6 hours’ sleep is required for an adult.

7.      Be with good people

Build up good social relationships with family and friends who cares about you to ensure the mental happiness and well-being.

8.      Be positive and Smile

When we smile our brain releases dopamine which results us to be happy. The positive thoughts and mind will also make us happy in our daily life.
